Dear Lindbergh Flyers Community,

I am honored to officially introduce myself as the principal of Lindbergh Elementary! For those I haven’t had the chance to meet yet, my name is David Goss, and the students call me Dr. G. I am deeply committed to equity, academic excellence and creating a school environment where every student thrives.

Originally from Texas, I earned my PhD in Education from Texas Tech University and started my career as an educator in 2007. I have served as a teacher and instructional coach before joining MMSD in 2018 as a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) strategist. I have dedicated my career to ensuring that students not only achieve, but maintain their love for learning—from their very first day in 4K to their last day in 5th grade.

My family and I live on the east side of Madison, and my own daughter is an MMSD student! Outside of school, my partner and I love cooking, hiking and spending time with friends. A fun fact about me—I play guitar and have a deep passion for music!

I look forward to building strong partnerships with families, staff, and students as we continue to make Lindbergh a place where all learners soar. It has been a great year working together to support our incredible Flyer community, and I am very excited to continue building on that work as principal.
